    Tips for dark circle near eyes


    1.Grate 2' piece of cucumber. Squeeze through a muslin cloth and extract the juice. Dip cotton pads in this and place on eyelids. Relax for 15 minutes.
    2. Take 1 tspn Tomato pulp,1 pinch of Turmeric powder ½ tspn of limejuice and 1 tspn of gram flour. Make a paste and apply gently. Remove gently with moist cotton pads after ½ an hour.
    3.Soak 2 Almonds overnight. Peel and grind to a smooth paste. Add a few drops of limejuice to this Apply for 20-25 minutes. This should be followed daily and gradually after 2 weeks, every 3rd day and finally when the difference is visible, to once aeek. A paste of Almonds can be stored in a clean bottle in the 'fridge.
    4.Apply a paste made by crushing a handful of Mint leaves.

    1. Melt two tablespoons cocoa butter over low heat
    2. Separate one egg yolk and add to butter

    8 Beauty tips for face

    Apply 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes at bedtime.

    1. Take 1 tbsp of un-boiled milk, dip a small pad of cotton wool in this and rub on the face gently. Use circular movements, use upward strokes on the neck area. Leave this on for 15 minutes. Wash with cold water.

    2. Take a thick slice of cucumber. Don't peel the slice, rub in a circular motion all over the face and neck areas. Wash after 15 minutes.

    3. Halve a tomato, gently rub over face and neck and wash after 15 minutes.

    4. Take the half of a lime peel, from which the juice has been extracted, rub this firmly on the face and the neck. Using a Scrub-(once in 3-4 days).

    After washing off the milk or juice - take a tsp of oat bran or wheat husk or gram flour (besan). Make a paste with a few drops of water and rub the face and neck gently with this. This sloughs away the dead cells and gives the face a glow. Don't use soap, just splash on cold water that will act as an astringent and close the pores.
    5. Use green gram powder or rice flour mixed with curds instead.
    Oily Skin: If the face is oily,
    After a bath as a base for make-up use some diluted limejuice to dab on before application of foundation or any other make-up.
    6. Diluted buttermilk dabbed on the face and left for 15 minutes, gently wipe with moist cotton wool before applying make-up.

    7. Rub the face well with an ice cube.

    8. Slice an Apple into thin slices. Place these on the face and leave for 15 minutes. These soak up the extra oil and helps to close pores.

    Vegetable briyani

    Ingredients
    Basmati rice – 200 grams
    French Beans (cut into diamond shaped pieces) – 50 grams
    Carrots (cut into long pieces of 1 inch each) – 50 grams
    Shelled green peas – 50 grams
    Cauliflower (cut into Florette) – 125 grams
    Peppercorns – 4
    Potatoes (cut into 4 pieces each) – 2
    Shahjeera – ½ tsp.
    Green Cardamoms – 2
    Black Cardamom – 1
    Bay leaves – 2
    Cinnamon – 2 cm.
    Cloves – 2
    Some strands saffron
    Masala for the vegetables:
    Curd – ½ cup
    Sliced onions – 125 grams
    Garlic-ginger paste – 1½ tsp.
    Chilli powder – 2 tsp.
    Coriander-cumin powder – ¾ tsp.
    Mint paste – 1 tsp.
    Garam Masala – ¾ tsp.
    Ghee – 1½ tbsp.
    Salt according to your taste
    Ghee for frying onions

    Preparation:
    Take all the ingredients for masala, except ghee and mix well.
    Now marinate the vegetable in it for about 45 minutes to 60 minutes.
    Then heat the ghee in a pan and fry the onions until they turn to brown. Remove onions from ghee.
    After cooling make a paste by grinding.
    Now cook the rice in water (water quantity must be double of rice).
    After cooking, spread rice in a plate and cool.
    Lightly roast the saffron, powder and sprinkle over the rice.
    Then heat the ghee in a wok/kadai and season it with the spices.
    Now add the vegetables to above and saute for about three to four minutes.
    Then add some water and cook the vegetables until it becomes almost dry.
    Take the baking dish and arrange layers of rice and vegetables alternatively.
    In last top above with garnish and bake at medium heat in oven for 15 minutes.
